## Learn With a Times Tables Chart

• Start with the two times table. It’s easier to understand and get to grips with halving and doubling. Children find it easy to count on which builds confidence for the rest. Then move on to 5 and 10s.
• Remember to also learn the reverse operation, 5 x 10 = 50 and also 50/5 = 10
• Learn each times table in smaller chunks, work with multipliers from 1-6 and 7-12, then combine all 12 together
• If you recite multiplication tables, it’s more fun with someone else.
